The Work

Joining a highly skilled utilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and electrical safety of critical water and waste infrastructure across the region.

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown repairs on water and sewerage treatment plants.

  • Inspect, test, and maintain heavy-duty pumping stations, telemetry systems, and automated control panels.

  • Diagnose faults on electrical circuitry, electric motors, and associated switchgear.

  • Adhere to strict safety, environmental, and government compliance standards to safeguard critical public infrastructure.

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical fitters and operational teams to minimise system downtime.

What You Need

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused professional who is ready to take ownership of vital community infrastructure.

  • Trade Qualification: Cert III in Electrotechnology.

  • Licensing: Valid QLD Electrical Work Licence (A-Grade).

  • Work Rights: Full Australian Working Rights are essential (Australian Resident, Citizen, or eligible New Zealand Citizen).

  • Compliance: Willingness to undergo the client's formal interview and background onboarding process.
